Job summary

Sapsf in the United States is seeking a Technical Architect with 10+ years in infrastructure engineering, Kubernetes administration and architecture to lead enterprise-scale deployments. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deploy and troubleshoot Rancher-managed Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage cluster lifecycle: HA control plane, worker provisioning, upgrades.
• Administer Linux systems, networks, storage; perform capacity planning.
• Design and operate Ceph storage integrated with Kubernetes.
• Configure Kubernetes networking, ingress, DNS, certificates and storage.
• Automate provisioning and deployment using Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop Python and Bash automation for installation and health checks.
• Diagnose Linux drivers, kernel modules and OS issues.
• Evaluate enterprise servers, BIOS, firmware and health.
• Deploy GPU-accelerated infra with NVIDIA drivers and CUDA.

Key Responsibilities

• - Deploy, administer and troubleshoot Rancher‑managed RKE/RKE2 Kubernetes clusters, containerized applications and distributed computing platforms.
• - Manage Kubernetes lifecycle activities, including control‑plane HA, worker provisioning, upgrades, etcd backup/recovery and workload resilience.
• - Administer Linux systems, networking, file systems and storage technologies; perform capacity planning and performance tuning for production workloads.
• - Design and operate Ceph storage, including MON, MGR, OSD, MDS and RGW services, and integrate RBD/CephFS with Kubernetes through CSI.
• - Configure Kubernetes networking, ingress, load balancing, DNS, certificates, network policies and persistent storage.
• - Automate cluster provisioning, installation, configuration management and deployment orchestration using Ansible, Terraform and appropriate provisioning platforms.
• - Develop Python, Bash and other automation tools for installation, validation, monitoring, health checks and operational workflows.

• - Establish GitOps, CI/CD, Helm and Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices, including automated validation, release management and rollback procedures.
• - Implement enterprise identity integration, RBAC, secrets management, security hardening and container security controls.
• - Support secure, mission‑critical and air‑gapped environments, including customer deployments, controlled upgrades and critical incident resolution.
• - Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis across applications, Kubernetes, Linux, storage, networking, GPUs and server hardware.
• - Coordinate with vendors, customers and cross‑functional teams to resolve integration issues and deliver validated infrastructure.
• - Maintain architecture diagrams, configuration baselines, runbooks and recovery procedures; mentor engineers and lead operational handover.
