Job description

Hightouch's mission is to empower everyone to take action on their data. Hundreds of companies, including Autotrader, Calendly, Cars.com, Monday.com, and PetSmart, trust Hightouch to power their growth.

We pioneered the Composable Customer Data Platform (CDP), enabling companies to use their own data warehouse for customer data collection, preparation, and activation for marketing personalization and business operations. Our new AI Decisioning platform enhances this by allowing marketers to set goals and guardrails for AI agents to personalize customer interactions. Traditionally, only technical teams could access customer data; now, with Hightouch, every business user can leverage data and AI to deliver personalized experiences, optimize marketing, and accelerate organizational performance.

Our team is committed to making a meaningful impact for our customers. We approach challenges with a first-principles mindset, move quickly and efficiently, and foster a culture of compassion and kindness. We seek team members who are strong communicators, growth-oriented, motivated, and persistent in achieving goals.

Based in San Francisco but with team members worldwide, our Series C funding has valued us at $1.2B. We are backed by leading investors such as Sapphire Ventures, Amplify Partners, ICONIQ Growth, Bain Capital Ventures, Y-Combinator, and Afore Capital.

About The Role

As a Technical Architect (TA), you will serve as the bridge between Hightouch and our largest Fortune 5000 customers. You will oversee the entire customer journey—from kick-off and onboarding to ongoing success and increased adoption. You are a product expert, leveraging your knowledge to ensure our Enterprise customers understand and utilize the Hightouch platform to its fullest and beyond.

You will seek to understand customer requirements at a detailed level, uncover use cases, and help navigate to optimal solutions. Your passion lies in how companies can utilize data to its maximum potential. Your goal is to guide customers toward their ideal future state and contribute to the innovation of the Hightouch platform.

What You'll Do
  • Be a key member of the Customer Success team, responsible for retention and expansion of our largest Enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to strategize on increasing Hightouch adoption within large organizations.
  • Deliver organized onboarding through effective project management, ensuring customers realize the full value of Hightouch products.
  • Provide proactive technical guidance and expertise across all products.
  • Work with Customer Support, Engineering, and other teams to resolve escalations.
  • Contribute to platform success by surfacing use cases and issues to Engineering for product improvement.
What We're Looking For
  • 5-10 years of experience in a client-facing or technology-focused role combining business insight and technical skills.
  • Experience managing technical projects with a customer-first approach and empathy.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand complex systems (APIs, databases, reporting tools, etc.).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a continuous learning mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and adapt to different teams and personalities.
  • Capacity to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle unexpected challenges with ease.

The salary range for this position is $160,000-$200,000 USD per year (80/20 split variable), location-independent under our remote-first policy. We also offer meaningful equity compensation via ISO options, early exercise opportunities, and a 10-year post-termination exercise window.
