Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of solution architecture and technical design.
• Recent hands-on SDLC experience within the last 3 years.
• Strong understanding of application and cloud architecture, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements.
• Proven ability to lead across multiple projects and communicate to diverse audiences.
• Experience with AWS or hybrid cloud/on-prem architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and review of solutions across all layers including application, data, security, infrastructure, and cloud.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and recommend viable options.
• Provide strategic and tactical technical leadership to identify and resolve risks.
• Design solutions for 3-tier web apps, mobile apps, and event-driven architectures.
• Produce technical design for AWS infrastructure, integration architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions.
• Architect and design solutions using Java, NodeJS, Angular/React, relational and NoSQL databases.
• Design and integrate solutions using APIs, REST, SOAP, GraphQL, MOMs, SAML, and OAuth.
• Support hybrid architectures across public cloud and on-prem environments (AWS preferred).
• Evaluate emerging technologies including AI and IoT, and vendor ecosystems like SAP, Adobe, Salesforce.
• Create common frameworks and reusable components for use across applications.
• Participate in design and code reviews leveraging hands-on development across multiple languages.
• Contribute to roadmap development and portfolio documentation.
• Coach and mentor dev teams on software engineering best practices across the SDLC.

The ideal candidate will have recent full-SDLC experience, deep experience with modern application and cloud technologies, and the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and review of solutions across all layers, including application, integration, data, security, infrastructure, and cloud.
• Translate business and functional needs into technical requirements and recommend viable solution options.
• Provide strategic and tactical technical leadership to identify, mitigate, and resolve project and architectural risks.
• Design solutions across a range of architectures, including 3-tier web applications, mobile applications, and event-driven architectures.
• Produce technical design for application components, AWS cloud infrastructure, integration architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions.
• Architect and design solutions using technologies such as Java, NodeJS, Angular, React, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
• Design and integrate solutions using APIs, REST, SOAP, GraphQL, MOMs, SAML, and OAuth.
• Support hybrid architecture implementations across public cloud and on-prem environments, with experience on AWS preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in solution architecture and technical design.
• Recent hands‑on experience with the full SDLC within the last 3 years.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, cloud architecture, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple concurrent projects and priorities while maintaining high-quality delivery.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to defend architectural choices and gain alignment in complex technical discussions.
• Experience with modern technology stacks such as Java, NodeJS, Angular, React, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with AWS or hybrid cloud/on-prem architecture.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, middleware, authentication, and integration technologies.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies and advanced architecture/design patterns quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience with AI and IoT technology stacks.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Adobe, and Salesforce.
• Experience contributing to roadmap and portfolio strategy documentation.
• Experience handling Architecture Review Board processes and exception remediation.
• Experience building enterprise reusable frameworks and components.
