Job Description

Title: Technical Architect

Location: Portland, OR

First Preference : Onsite – local

Second Preference: Candidates that are open to travel to client site frequently as needed. Expenses are payable

Duration: 6 Months

Experienced Technical Architect with strong hands-on expertise to support us on our upcoming application development project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and technical direction for complex projects.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business objectives.
• Mentor and guide development teams on best practices and design principles.
• Ability to perform architectural reviews and code assessments.
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Architect or similar role.
• Solid understanding of system design, integration, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Knowledgeable on MySQL, Familiar with Oracle and Postgres
• Familiar with NoSQL
• (Nice to have) Experience creating prototypes with Adobe XD, Figma
• Knowledgeable on micro-services architecture
• Familiarity with event-based architecture
• Experience working with the AWS Cloud Services (e.g. ECS, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Secrets Cognito, SQS, SES)
• Experience in working with REST APIs
• Familiar with CI/CD tools
• Jenkins
• Familiar with Caching Technologies – Redis, Memcaches
• Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies
