Overview

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Technical Architect at Coalescence Cloud, you will design and build scalable, integrated Salesforce and ERP/PSA platforms that are the backbone of our client solutions and internal technical standards. You’ll combine systems-level thinking with hands-on development to ensure architecture decisions are forward-thinking, technically sound, and scalable.

This role is ideal for someone who can see the big picture while executing on the ground. You’ll help shape our architectural frameworks, mentor others, and be a trusted partner to clients and internal delivery teams.

This role is remote, but occasional travel may be required based on client alignment.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a technical design authority for Salesforce and ERP/PSA implementations across diverse industries.
  • Design and document scalable systems, including data models, integrations, automation, and user experience.
  • Participate in and lead technical discovery, solutioning sessions, and architectural reviews.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, project managers, and client stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle - ensuring architecture decisions are implemented effectively.
  • Contribute to internal IP, solution accelerators, and reusable frameworks.
  • Stay current on Salesforce and ERP/PSA platform enhancements and bring forward recommendations.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to a strong internal culture of technical excellence.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including discovery, scope definition, and architecture diagrams.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce design, configuration, and development.
  • Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities (Flows, Apex, LWC, security, data modeling, etc.).
  • Experience with ERP or PSA platforms (Certinia preferred, but not required).
  • Hands-on experience with custom integration and strong familiarity with Salesforce APIs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical topics to business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to independently manage your time, responsibilities, and project deliverables remotely.
Bonus Points For
  • Experience with Certinia (formerly FinancialForce).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Copado or Flosum.
  • Salesforce certifications, such as System Architect and/or Application Architect.
  • Background in data governance, user provisioning, or compliance within enterprise platforms.
  • Contributions to thought leadership, such as blogs, webinars, or industry events.

$160,000 - $200,000 a year

Compensation for this position includes a base salary plus bonus opportunities. Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
