Apply now for the position of a Technical Application Specialist/Medical Technologist (Chemistry/IA) in Kansas City, MO.

The primary responsibilities of the Technical Application Specialist Chemistry/Immunoassay (TAS) include providing implementation services, Train-the-Trainer education, and troubleshooting on all Siemens Healthineers instrumentation and Data Management applications.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in growing our business by providing excellent customer support. Serve as the project coordinator for all installations assigned, performing system implementations and software upgrades efficiently, including customer training, with minimal assistance by following established guidelines.
  2. Maintain high customer satisfaction, identify potential "at risk" customers, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  3. Resolve customer issues effectively and participate in escalations as needed.
  4. Assist in training other Technical Applications Specialists and be willing to travel outside of their region to support other territories.
  5. Support product demos and technical presentations in collaboration with Sales and Service teams to promote sales.
  6. Organize and participate in field-based customer education events.
  7. Work in accordance with government regulations, FDA, OSHA, and Siemens Healthineers Quality System, including all safety and training requirements.
  8. Use Siemens Healthineers communication tools effectively. Maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record as per company policy.
Requirements:
  1. Ability to travel within and outside the region more than 90% of the time, including overnight travel from Monday to Friday.
  2. Valid driver’s license.
  3. BA/BS in Medical Technology or related field; thorough technical knowledge of medical technology.
  4. At least 2 years of laboratory experience; prior field experience preferred; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to prioritize critical customers and handle crisis situations effectively.
  6. Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  7. Strong presentation and sales skills; aligned with company values.

The pay range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000 annually, with potential variation based on experience and skills. The annual incentive target is 6% of base pay.
