Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field as listed.
• 1+ year in product or process development, scale-up or tech transfer.
• Experience with nutritional or solid dose product development.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial trials.
• Familiarity with solid dose manufacturing steps (blending, encapsulation, tablet compression, coating).
• Knowledge of Quality by Design, SPC, and process capability concepts.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel.
• Ability to analyze data and report findings.
• Ability to work with powders, chemicals, and allergens.

Responsibilities

• Support product development, renovation, and formulation optimization across formats.
• Design and execute formulation studies, development trials, and industrial trials.
• Support scale-up, validation, and production startup activities from pilot to commercial manufacturing.
• Assist with technology transfer to internal sites and external manufacturers, including documentation.
• Prepare and maintain technical and manufacturing documentation (batch records, specifications, protocols, change controls).
• Define and support manufacturing processes, equipment parameters, and operational controls.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Apply scientific principles and material characteristics to formulation and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze and report data to support process improvements and statistical evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve product, process, and supply issues.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality, yield, and efficiency.
• Provide technical support for investigations, risk assessments, and process improvements.
• Engage with suppliers and external partners and stay current on industry trends.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and changes to stakeholders and management.

• Design and execute formulation studies, development trials, and industrial trials
• Support scale-up, validation, and production startup activities from pilot to commercial manufacturing
• Assist with technology transfer to internal sites and external manufacturers (CMOs), including documentation
• Prepare and maintain technical and manufacturing documentation (batch records, specifications, protocols, change controls)
• Define and support manufacturing processes, equipment parameters, and operational controls

Requirements

• Experience with development and characterization of nutritional or solid dose products
• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial trials
• Familiarity with solid dose manufacturing processes (blending, encapsulation, tablet compression, coating preferred)
• Knowledge of laboratory activities, Quality by Design, Operational Excellence, and process capability concepts (e.g., statistical process control, process robustness)
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel
• Ability to perform data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Ability to work in environments with exposure to powders, chemicals, and allergens
