Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced technical analyst to own the Aladdin Wealth implementation workstream. You will translate business requirements into build-ready technical specifications and collaborate with developers, integration architects, data engineers, and BlackRock contacts to design and prove the solution.

This contract role requires hands-on Aladdin Wealth implementation experience and the ability to contribute from day one across target architecture, data mapping, and interface

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical or solution analysis on wealth-management or asset-management platforms.
• Hands-on Aladdin Wealth delivery at scale with architecture input and data mapping.
• Experience with Aladdin Wealth APIs/interfaces, payloads, constraints and error handling.
• Proven inbound/outbound integrations involving Aladdin Wealth, with data mapping.
• Strong experience with financial data: positions, transactions, pricing, benchmarks, client structures.
• Experience specifying event-driven and batch integration patterns in regulated environments.
• Collaboration with developers/architects to produce precise build-ready specs.
• Hands-on SQL; able to inspect JSON/XML payloads and review API docs.
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Visio; API testing tools like Postman; Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• OWN TARGET ARCHITECTURE AND INTEGRATION: contribute to architecture, data flows, responsibilities across Aladdin Wealth and current apps.
• Develop integration inventory and plan: in-scope interfaces, sequencing, dependencies and releases.
• Analyse event-driven and batch options with integration architect: triggers, ordering, idempotency, latency, error handling.
• Document non-functional requirements for the integration layer: volumes, availability, monitoring and alerts.
• Support technical mobilisation: connectivity, environment needs, test data, backlogs.
• DATA DEFINITIONS AND MAPPING: own data definitions and mappings for Aladdin Wealth data exchanges.
• Document mappings, transformations, identifiers, exceptions; respect vendor schemas.
• Translate business taxonomy into mappings and exception handling.
• Define portfolio risk attributes data: source, refresh, lineage, downstream use.
• Define historical data migration scope and validation approach.
• Maintain data dictionaries, mappings, and decisions as scope evolves.
• APIS AND INTERFACES: analyse API/docs; specify endpoint use, payload contracts, security, versioning, limits, retry.
• Document interface contracts for developers; validate with BlackRock and solution architect.

Own the technical analysis for our Client's Aladdin Wealth implementation: the project data definitions, source-to-target mappings, interfaces, API integrations and data quality controls.Take business requirements from the Business Analyst and translate them into buildable technical specifications. Work with developers, integrationarchitects, data engineers and BlackRock technical contacts to design,implement and prove the solution.This is a contract engagement requiring someone productive from the outset, with hands-on Aladdin Wealth implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• TARGET ARCHITECTURE AND INTEGRATION


• Contribute technical analysis to the Aladdin Wealth target architecture: component boundaries, system-of-record considerations, data flows and responsibilities across Aladdin Wealth and the existing application landscape.


• Develop the integration inventory and plan: in-scope inbound and outbound interfaces, sequencing, dependencies and release phasing.


• Analyse event-driven and batch options with the integration architect: triggers, ordering, idempotency, replay, throughput, latency, error handling and recovery.- Elicit and document non-functional requirements for the integration layer, including volumes, availability, recovery, monitoring and alerting.- Support technical mobilisation: connectivity and environment dependencies, access requirements, test-data needs and the initial technical backlog.DATA DEFINITIONS AND MAPPING


• Own project data definitions and source-to-target mappings for data exchanged with Aladdin Wealth, including positions, transactions, security reference data, pricing, benchmarks, classifications, client and account hierarchies.


• Work within the Aladdin Wealth data model and document required mappings, transformations, identifiers and exceptions; do not assume ownership of the vendor's underlying product schema.


• Translate business-approved taxonomy and classification rules into mappings and exception handling.


• Specify portfolio risk attributes as data: source, refresh, lineage and downstream use, in line with business definitions agreed by the Business Analyst and relevant owners.


• Define historical data migration scope, mapping and technical validation approach.


• Maintain data dictionaries, mapping specifications and decisions as scope evolves.APIS AND INTERFACES


• Analyse Aladdin Wealth API and interface documentation provided for the engagement; specify endpoint or interface use, payload contracts, security requirements, versioning, limits, error handling and retry behaviour as confirmed for the client's implementation.


• Specify in-scope inbound feeds, such as holdings, transactions, reference data and pricing, and outbound data exchanges required by approved business requirements.


• Document interface contracts clearly enough for developers to build and test against.


• Validate feature and interface assumptions with BlackRock and the solution architect. Do not assume that a specific endpoint, payload, event pattern or workflow is available in every Aladdin Wealth deployment.DATA QUALITY AND RECONCILIATION


• Define technical data-quality checks, completeness and accuracy rules, tolerance handling, exception reporting and remediation ownership with the relevant data owners.


• Design source-to-platform reconciliation, including break identification, triage and resolution.


• Investigate data issues hands-on using SQL and payload inspection; document root cause and corrective action.TECHNICAL TESTING AND HANDOVER


• Define and coordinate technical test scenarios for data and interfaces, including integration, end-to-end, volume and regression testing.


• Support developers' unit testing and diagnose interface/data defects raised during business UAT; coordinate triage with developers and BlackRock.


• Support cutover and migration readiness, including dress rehearsals and data/interface reconciliation sign-off.


• Produce technical run-books, monitoring requirements and support documentation for hypercare and BAU handover.

SKILLS

Must have

• 3+ years in technical or solution analysis on wealth-management, private-banking or asset-management platform implementations.


• Proven hands-on delivery of Aladdin Wealth at scale, including target architecture input, integration planning and source-to-target data mapping.Direct implementation experience is the primary selection criterion.


• Practical experience with Aladdin Wealth APIs or interfaces, including analysis of documentation, payloads, constraints and error handling.


• Proven delivery of inbound and outbound integrations involving Aladdin Wealth, with data mapping and reconciliation.


• Strong experience in financial-services data: positions, transactions, security/reference data, pricing, benchmarks, classifications and client/account structures.


• Experience specifying event-driven and batch integration patterns in a regulated environment.


• Able to work directly with developers and architects: discuss designs, challenge assumptions and produce precise build-ready specifications.


• Hands-on SQL; able to inspect JSON/XML payloads and work from API/interface documentation.


• Jira, Confluence, Visio ; API testing tools such as Postman; Excel for data analysis.

Nice to have

Designed or implemented a BlackRock integration layer within a global wealth platform programme. Historical data migration from a legacy proposal or portfolio platform. Python for data validation or reconciliation; Snowflake/data-lake, Kafka or similar integration patterns. Exposure to adjacent platforms (Avaloq, Temenos, FNZ, SimCorp or Charles River); custody, core banking or OMS interfaces. Multi-entity or multi-jurisdiction delivery experience.
