Job summary

Varen, an SAIC company, seeks a Technical Analyst to join our CyberOps team in Columbia, MD. This role requires TS/SCI with polygraph.

You will review policy documents, draft internal policy updates, and prepare executive materials to support decision-making for military or civilian leadership.

Candidates bring strong analytical and presentation skills and experience with Office tools and data visualization; familiarity with DoD cyber operations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more related experience
• TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Experience in Operations Research and/or Data Analytics.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, data visualization and experience serving in or working with the Navy's Defense Cyber Operations Defensive Operations and/or DODIN.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expert support by reviewing external policy documents and providing executive summaries and recommendations for modifications.
• Draft new or update internal policy documents, white papers, and strategic assessments, routing them through Command staffing process.
• Prepare slide decks, executive summaries, and talking points, reserve conference rooms, develop meeting agendas, prepare and send meeting makers, and identify and track taskers for military or civilian leadership to support decision-making.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
