Job summary

Michigan State University in East Lansing is seeking a temporary/on-call technical support role focused on audio and video production. Responsibilities include shooting and editing content for multiple platforms, maintaining equipment, and setting up studio and EFP systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills, be a dependable team player with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and be willing to work nights and weekends according to production

Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

The successful applicant will have excellent Audio & Video skills including the ability to shoot/edit content
for multiple distribution platforms, utilize and maintain equipment, and general set-up and troubleshooting
of studio and EFP systems; lighting skills; and knowledge of rigging/grip techniques and practices with an emphasis on safety. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to work night and
weekends based on production schedules.
