About Rouse Energy

Rouse Energy is a clean-tech company with a proprietary, “green”, patented, fuel additive we call “CMS” (forcomprehensive mineral supplement) that improves combustion of a variety of fuels (higher heat, even heat, lower emissions, cleaner ash). The feedstock for production is waste material, some of it toxic, otherwise destined for landfills. The target application is power generation, but other industrial processes using heat produce waste slag as an unwanted byproduct thatcan be recycled into CMSfor a circular, on-site process. With CMS, we hope to reshape the future of industrial combustion and integrated platforms such as briquetting and pyrolosis.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Advisor with deep expertise in combustion systems and solid fuel technologies to support our product development and commercialization efforts. This is a high-impact role ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives at the intersection of R&D, industrial operations, and clean tech.

·Design and refine testing protocols for various combustion modes (grate firing, fluidized bed, pulverized fuel systems).

·Advise on combustion performance, emissions behavior, ash handling, and thermal efficiency.

·Translate technical test results into actionable insights for financial modeling and business case development.

·Work closely with business teams to incorporate technical assumptions into financial models, forecasts, and investment scenarios.

·Guide lab-scale and pilot-scale experiments and assist in interpreting test data.

·Evaluate applicability of local and regional waste streams as fuel or additives.

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Ideal Background

·10+ years of experience in combustion technologies, thermal processing, or related energy systems.

·Hands-on experience with industrial boilers, kilns, furnaces, or similar systems.

·Familiarity with emissions measurement, fuel analysis, and energy efficiency metrics.

·Experience working with biomass, industrial waste, or alternative fuels.

·Proven ability to translate technical data into financial insights for modeling and business planning.

·Strong communication skills, especially in translating technical insights across teams.

·Direct experience modeling the financial impact of combustion technologies or fuel changes on industrial boilers, power plants, or kilns.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary + performance-based bonus
  • Equity participation aligned with company growth
  • Travel and logistics support as required
