Technical Accounting Manager

Location: Rosemont, IL | Hybrid: 4 days in the office, Fridays work from home

Base Pay Range

$175,000.00/yr – $200,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Lead Key Technical Accounting Areas

• Build and maintain accounting policies across multiple COEs
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and strong internal controls
• Partner with teams across the business to streamline processes
• Maintain policies and documentation
• Review monthly results and fluctuations

Bonus Accounting

• Understand all bonus programs and performance measures
• Collect HR data, calculate payouts, and review actual results
• Complete monthly flux analysis

Share-Based Compensation

• Coordinate grant dates and valuations with HR
• Manage stock‑comp accounting and reporting
• Work with plan administrators on monthly reports

Pension & OPEB

• Gather key plan assumptions
• Manage pension/OPEB accounting and monthly analysis

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of US GAAP experience
• CPA preferred
• Strong Excel skills; comfortable with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Ability to travel < 25%
