Job summary

Highspring LLC (d/b/a Vaco by Highspring) seeks a Technical Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting, GL accounting, equity accounting for stock options, preferred stock, warrants, and GAAP research.

The role includes coordinating external audits, supervising staff, preparing consolidated financials and disclosures, and handling derivative/hedge accounting, with potential international consolidation.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities for Technical Accounting Manager

The Technical Accounting Manager will be responsible for the coordination and management of the Company's financial reporting, GL Accounting, Equity accounting for stock options, preferred stock, warrants and more, GAAP Research, and metrics analysis.

• Must have public accounting experience in audit, strong GAAP knowledge, experience in financial statement consolidation, Stock-based compensation accounting, and due diligence.


• Emphasis on ASC 606 revenue accounting, % of completion, working closely with new contracts.


• Responsibilities will include assistance with financial planning and analysis, internal financial reporting, coordination of external audit, and internal controls.


• Responsibilities will also include the supervision of the accounting staff, prepare consolidated financials, prepare disclosures, compliance reporting, month end close, and ad hoc reporting & analysis.


• Responsible for Equity Accounting, Shareholder equity reporting, and stock-based compensation ASC 718.


• Perform derivative/hedge accounting and other investment accounting.


• Seeking International financial statement preparation/consolidation and analysis.


• Work on complex accounting research & projects.


• Position will also coordinate and liaise with internal and external audits.

Requirements for Technical Accounting Manager

• Minimum 2-4+ years of public accounting experience from large national CPA firm. Plus 4 year private industry experience. Seeking percentative of completion experience.


• Degree required. CPA is high preference. Strong excel is required and strong systems would be a plus. Excellent Communication and analytical skills are a must.


• Compensation range is competitive with sweet spot $150,000 to $185,000 base + bonus and great benefits.
