RGP in Charlotte is seeking experienced Technical Accounting professionals to support clients on complex accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and transformation initiatives. As an RGP consultant, you will work with client accounting and finance teams in a hybrid environment.

You will research complex U.S. GAAP issues, prepare memos, support SEC reporting and SOX controls, and contribute to month- and year-end closes while identifying process improvements and system implementations.

Qualifikationen

• CPA license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and SEC/SOX exposure.
• Public accounting background preferred.

What you will bring

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant technical accounting and/or financial reporting responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP with experience researching and documenting complex accounting matters.
• Experience with SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and/or publicly traded organizations.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
• Public accounting experience, particularly Big Four or national accounting firm experience, preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across accounting, finance, audit, and business teams.
• Ability to work onsite with clients in the Charlotte area as part of a hybrid work arrangement.
