Job summary

Kinect LLC in New York is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead technical onboarding and implementation efforts for new clients. You will coordinate with client stakeholders and internal teams across engineering, data, infrastructure, security, and business units.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management, business analysis, solution design, project management, or related roles, preferably within financial services.
  • Understanding of investment and portfolio management workflows and related data flows.
  • Hands-on SQL experience and working knowledge of Python for analysis or prototyping.
  • Experience with Tableau or comparable BI tools.
  • Strong experience managing technology initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical onboarding for new clients from kickoff through go-live and transition to ongoing support.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery across Engineering, Data, Infrastructure/Cloud, Network, Information Security, Support, and business teams.
  • Conduct technical discovery and document requirements for data feeds, APIs, file formats, SSO, entitlements, environments, and integrations.
  • Manage data and integration activities including interface specifications, data mapping, secure file transfer, connectivity testing, and workflow validation.
  • Coordinate environment provisioning, user access, security reviews, SSO configuration, and required technical approvals.
  • Plan and manage system integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, go-live, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reporting, implementation documentation, and operational runbooks.
  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and decisions to senior management and other stakeholders.

Our client, a leading global investment management firm, is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead technical onboarding and implementation efforts for new clients.

This role will coordinate complex implementations from initial kickoff through go-live, partnering with client stakeholders and internal technology, data, infrastructure, security, and business teams.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with excellent project management, business analysis, and stakeholder communication skills and has experience delivering technology solutions within financial services.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Experience with Tableau or comparable business intelligence and visualization tools.
  • Strong experience managing technology initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.
  • Familiarity with modern SDLC, CI/CD, testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business users, clients, and senior management.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated ownership of complex initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, another technical or quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with generative AI or agentic frameworks, investment platforms such as Aladdin, and a broad range of traditional and alternative investment products is a plus.
Location

New York City – Hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in the office. The in-office requirement is subject to change.

Compensation

Compensation: $130,000–$150,000 annual base salary. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, education, and business needs. The position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical, dental and vision insurance, retirement benefits, life insurance, and other benefits for eligible employees.
