Trident Consulting is seeking a Technical Project Manager – Tanium Implementation for one of our clients.

Role: Technical Project Manager – Tanium Implementation

Location: Remote

Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Project Ownership: Collaborate directly with the Head of Systems Services to define and manage all phases of the Tanium implementation project.
• Tool Deployment & Configuration: Work closely with the product team and vendor partners to ensure Tanium is correctly installed and configured.
• Migration Planning: Develop a detailed project plan to oversee the transition of Concord's infrastructure to Tanium, covering Windows-based devices and servers, Apple devices, and Linux servers.
• Training & Enablement: Design and deliver a training program to prepare the System Services Team to support Tanium post-implementation.
• Process Development: Establish support processes and documentation to operationalize the Tanium environment, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.
• Scalability & Roadmapping: Identify and document potential future enhancements or integrations to improve broader adoption of Tanium across clients.
• Client Onboarding Toolkit: Build a repeatable onboarding and transition framework for future client migrations, including timelines, dependencies, and training artifacts.

Ideal Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager within IT infrastructure or endpoint management initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with endpoint tools such as Tanium, SCCM, BigFix, or similar.
• Strong background in cross-platform environments (Windows, MacOS, Linux).
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills with a proven ability to bring structure to undefined projects.
• Experience working with internal IT teams and third-party vendors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
• Previous consulting or MSP experience is a plus.
