Adams Street Partners is seeking a Technology Investment Associate for its Venture Growth team in Menlo Park, CA. The role involves supporting the full investment lifecycle—from thesis development and sourcing through diligence, execution, and portfolio tracking—with a lean deal-team approach.

The candidate will conduct due diligence, perform market research, and build relationships with leading private tech companies. A 2–4 year background in tech investing or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in technology investment banking, consulting, principal investing, or analytical roles in high-growth tech environments.
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Advanced analytical and quantitative abilities with Excel modeling expertise.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with founders, investors, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of investment due diligence: business, market, management, competition, financials, and cap table analysis.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities in the technology sector.
• Develop relationships with leading private companies via conferences and direct outreach.
• Prepare investment memoranda and present analysis and recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Support internal processes and strategic initiatives across the deal lifecycle.
