Job summary

Freddie Mac’s Technology Summer Internship invites undergraduates in Computer Science or related fields to gain hands-on software development experience in a leading financial technology environment. The program leads toward the Technology Analyst Program after graduation, offering real-world tech and networking opportunities.

You will work on Agile teams, participate in requirements analysis, and help implement software changes while expanding leadership and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree in CS/CE or related field is required.
• Graduation date December 2027 or May 2028.
• Experience with Java, C/C++, Python.
• Familiarity with AI tools used to support software development.
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies recommended.
• Experience with Windows/Office/Visio/PowerBI/SharePoint is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate on project teams to develop software solutions in an Agile environment.
• Help define business and user needs and processes; identify solutions with project sponsors.
• Participate in requirements analysis; help design applications based on system requirements.
• Help build enhancements within existing applications.
• Support implementation of software application changes.
• Develop leadership and professional network during the internship.
