Job summary

Mi Escuela Montessori seeks a Technology Specialist experienced in managing digital infrastructure and guiding students toward CS education. You will oversee devices, apps, and labs while mentoring toward becoming the lead CS teacher.

The role offers a pathway to Florida Professional Licensure (CS K–12) and envisions evolving into a hybrid Tech Coordinator/CS Teacher position as certification progresses.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Proficiency with G-Suite for Education and MDM software.
• Basic hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to young learners and staff.
• Spanish and English bilingual would be highly valued.
• Experience in video editing or live-stream production helpful for Morning Show.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS or Education beneficial for licensure pathway.

Responsibilities

• Device onboarding for students and staff (laptops, tablets, classroom tech).
• Manage deployment and licensing of educational apps.
• Prepare labs for Florida state testing and other assessments.
• Maintain asset tags and hardware inventory.
• Monitor security and enforce CIPA policy.
• Support classrooms with technology integration and CS lessons.
• Lead the Morning Show and train students in digital media.
• Support licensure pathway through mentorship and guidance.
