Verizon Retail is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow sales and deliver exceptional customer service in our store network. You will identify customer needs, present tech solutions, and close sales while building relationships with consumers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience preferred, demonstrated through work or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule provided 4 weeks in advance).
• Open to picking up additional shifts to increase income, especially peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by asking questions and creating connections.
• Present product insights and recommend solutions for a complete top-down sale.
• Close sales with clear communication to meet customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Continuously develop through training and up-skilling in merchandising and inventory operations.
• Grow customer base by outbound calls and texts to current Verizon customers interested in products and services.
• Engage with the community outside the store during off-site Verizon events.
