Job summary

Verizon Retail is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate to drive sales in our stores. You will engage customers, uncover needs, present solutions, and close sales while growing your skills through training and community engagement.

Base pay starts at a competitive hourly rate with potential commissions. Opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package start day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One+ years of relevant experience in sales or customer service.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Opportunity to take additional shifts during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by connecting and asking questions.
• Position product insights and recommend solutions for a complete top-down sale.
• Close sales using strong communication to meet customer needs with tech solutions.
• Develop skills through ongoing training across merchandising and inventory.
• Possibility to contact current Verizon customers via outbound calls/texts to grow base.
• Engage with the community at Verizon-sponsored events to expand loyal customers.
