Job summary

Verizon is hiring immediately for a retail sales role at our Charlotte area worksite. You’ll generate retail sales through cutting-edge tech knowledge and outstanding customer service, building connections and uncovering customer needs.

You’ll earn $16.00-$21.00 per hour base, with potential to reach $65,000–$75,500 annually through commissions, with compensation varying by geography, hours, and performance. Benefits start day one and include health, tuition, and discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Openness to pick up additional shifts.
• Experience in a commission-based environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base at Verizon-sponsored events.
