Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate in West Valley City, Utah. You will drive retail sales, connect with customers, and recommend complete technology solutions. Expect ongoing training, potential commissions, and community engagement opportunities.

You will work onsite at a defined location and support an energetic team focused on customer success while achieving sales goals and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known four weeks in advance).
• Open to picking up additional shifts to earn more income, especially during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by building connections and asking questions.
• Present product insights and recommendations for a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales through effective communication to meet customer needs with tech solutions.
• Develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skilling in merchandising and inventory.
• Grow customer base by outbound calls and texts to existing customers.
• Engage with the community at Verizon-sponsored events to expand loyalty.
