Job summary

The teacher will integrate technology, monitor student progress with assessments, participate in school activities, and uphold professional standards as required by ALSDE and district policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher is required.
• Valid Alabama Teacher's Certificate is required.
• Must meet Every Student Succeed Act (ESSA) federal and state requirements or be willing to meet the requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology to plan and provide instruction and facilitate student learning within an elementary setting.
• Model appropriate and innovative use of technology for students.
• Facilitate and monitor the integration of technology in the classroom.
• Provide modifications for students with special needs, including exceptional education students and those with limited English proficiency as required.
• Establish routines and behavior management procedures.
• Use formative and summative assessment to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
• Communicate high learning expectations and set real-world learning targets.
• Support school improvement initiatives and participate in school activities and events.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student/school/workplace matters.
