Job summary

Foothills Batteries Inc. dba Batteries Plus in Greenville, SC is seeking a Customer Service / Sales team member to join our fast-paced, customer-focused store environment.

You will greet customers, assess needs, and recommend batteries, light bulbs and accessories. You will perform tests, installations, and assist with battery pack rebuilds, while handling POS transactions and ensuring a high level of service.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/equivalent and 6 months prior work experience preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and have reliable transportation.
• Good listening and verbal communication with a customer focus.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and determine needs.
• Suggest add-on items and meet sales goals.
• Operate computer/cash register and complete sales.
• Answer phones and relay messages accurately.
