Job summary

Best Buy is hiring a Retail Sales Associate in Altoona, PA. You’ll be the face of Best Buy for customers visiting our stores, trained to confidently recommend the right tech products and services to meet each person’s needs. If you love sales or helping people, this role is for you.

You’ll welcome customers, demo products, answer questions, handle cashier duties, and assist with in-store and curbside pickup while maintaining stock and knowledge through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or another fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner.
• Perform product demos and make recommendations that meet customers’ needs.
• Complete cashier duties for purchases, returns and exchanges.
• Maintain knowledge through ongoing learning and development.
• Keep the sales floor clean and well stocked.
• Assist with in-store pickup and curbside pickup orders.
