Ice Miller LLP seeks a mid to senior-level associate to join our Business practice group in Columbus, Ohio. Ideal candidates will have four to seven years of experience drafting and negotiating software, SaaS, cloud services, e-commerce, and technology transaction agreements.

Responsibilities include negotiating enterprise subscriptions, data processing agreements, privacy terms, and licensing, while collaborating with business teams to accelerate sales and procurement.

Qualifications

• Four to seven years of experience in law, preferably in a law firm or in-house setting.
• Experience drafting and negotiating software, SaaS, cloud services, e-commerce, and technology transaction agreements.
• Ability to work with business teams and improve contracting playbooks.

Responsabilités

• Draft and negotiate SaaS, cloud services, software licensing, implementation, platform integration, and professional services agreements.
• Advise on e-commerce launches, vendor onboarding, commercial terms, and payment processing.
• Handle technology/IP licensing, data processing agreements, and privacy policies with risk allocation.
• Update templates and playbooks to speed up sales and procurement cycles.
• Review distribution, logistics, and other commercial agreements.
