Job summary

Capital One in McLean, VA seeks a Sr. Associate, Tech Risk & Analysis to join the Technology Audit team.

You will execute test procedures on critical technology functions, including cloud-based infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, and perform risk assessments of business activities. You will communicate issues to management, develop documentation, and leverage data analytics to strengthen governance and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in technology and cybersecurity domains relevant to risk, controls and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Execute test procedures of critical technology functions, cloud-based infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk management, application, and third-party management.
• Perform risk assessments of business activities and communicate issues, risks and recommendations to management.
• Operate independently and ensure work is completed to schedule with high quality standards.
• Prepare clear, organized documentation to support work performed.
• Develop strong working relationships with key business partners and the Audit group.
• Leverage data analytics in planning and fieldwork phases of audit delivery.
• Follow up on audit actions to ensure timely remediation.
• Seek learning opportunities to enhance role-related skills.
