Job summary

EY USA, McLean, VA seeks an Analyst for 360 Careers in Assurance - Government & Infrastructure / Technology Risk. You will analyze IT controls, document processes, and support client engagements with risk assessments and SOC-related work.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Pursuit of CPA, CISA, CISSP or CA certification.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; preference for GPA 3.2 or higher.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours when required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship; U.S. citizenship for Government & Infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document clients’ business and IT processes, risks, and controls.
• Perform control documentation and testing through review of client evidence and interviews.
• Collaborate with the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines, assign responsibilities for key tasks and prepare planning documents.
• Monitor and manage project progress and risks, keeping stakeholders informed about progress and outcomes.
• Create flowcharts and process documentation for relevant processes.
• Perform SOC reports, third‑party risk assessments, IT risk and control framework design and assessments of ITGCs as part of SOX and Financial Statement audits.
