Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of full-time daily news copyediting or comparable professional news media experience.
• Experience with speech and script writing and editing for major events and/or marketing videos.
• Experience in covering science and technology beat or section.
• Strong storytelling and editorial judgment to produce clear, accurate materials.
• Familiarity with WordPress publishing and posting content with imagery.
• Interpersonal skills to work with university admins, students, faculty and donors.
• News judgment to organize stories for journalists and public.
• Ability to work independently with deadlines and high pressure.
• Proficiency in word processing, email, calendaring, and research.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed.
