Job summary

Epia Neuro in Alameda, CA is seeking a Technical Project Manager, Software & Firmware to lead planning and execution for software and firmware initiatives in our brain-computer interface program. You’ll partner with engineering leads to translate priorities into executable plans and drive schedules through development, verification, and release.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of technical project management on software, firmware, or embedded systems
• Experience driving plans from planning through execution, including schedule ownership
• Ability to partner effectively with technical leads and cross-functional teams while owning the plan and schedule
• Fluency with Jira and Confluence, or equivalent PM tools
• Strong written and verbal communication to translate technical status into actionable summaries

Responsibilities

• Own project planning and execution for software and firmware initiatives from kickoff through release
• Build and own project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risks
• Run planning and delivery cadence using Jira and Confluence with sprint planning support and dashboards
• Partner with Software and Firmware leads to translate priorities into executable plans
• Drive planning and completion of regulated software deliverables with Quality and Regulatory
• Manage cross-functional dependencies with Hardware/Research PMs and Quality/Regulatory teams
