Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking an internship to support the integration of hardware and software across the development lifecycle. You will join the Software Technical Program Management Team to plan, develop, and manage test assets aligned with program milestones in Irvine, CA.

The role requires active enrollment in a US bachelor’s program, proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python, and familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program at an accredited US university.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python.
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scoping and planning test asset needs using a systems engineering approach.
• Support prioritization of components for test assets based on software milestones and risk.
• Aid in software-hardware integration efforts during development activities.
• Coordinate verification test plans across teams.
• Track and drive technical issues to closure within the software organization.
• Provide programs and management teams with progress updates.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements and support their execution.
