Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in research/analysis/program planning and evaluation.
• Experience in research analysis or program planning and evaluation can substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Research assigned topics, gather information from various sources, and prepare summaries, reports, correspondence, graphs, and charts.
• Collect, organize, and maintain information and data.
• Prepare written materials describing issues, explain findings, and identify options for consideration.
• Assist with legislative staff analyses and bill tracking.
• Assist with committee meetings, including preparing agendas, conducting roll call, coordinating recording of proceedings, and preparing/distributing materials.
• Prepare, update, and format publications, presentations, charts, and other materials.
• Carry out administrative tasks supporting the committee’s daily work.
• Provide basic computer/technology support to staff and resolve routine problems.
• Perform other related duties as required.
