Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System is seeking a Tech Patient Care UN to support direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maryland Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• Completion of approved PCT training program; hospital-based or community college programs accepted.
• On-the-job training may be accepted in place of formal PCT training.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent direct patient care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification mandatory.
• Proficiency in universal safety precautions and emergency response.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are critical for collaboration.
• Maintain patient safety and report adverse events promptly.
