Job summary

QTS is seeking a Technology Optimization Intern to gain hands-on experience in optimizing a data center environment. You will support day-to-day activities, budgets, schedules, and project scopes, while engaging with procurement and technology teams.

You will work on technology deployment, analysis tools like Tableau/Power BI, and contribute to major data center initiatives, with opportunities to learn across lifecycle stages.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technology team with day-to-day activities and responsibilities.
• Maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for assigned projects.
• Develop scopes of work for design, configuration, and commissioning services.
• Work on technology procurement and delivery processes with the strategic procurement team.
• Monitor the status and availability of in-production technologies.
• Help disposition legacy assets.
• Perform fact finding around needs of major projects/initiatives.
• Assist with the decoupling of components of data centers.
