Tech Ops Insights Manager & MRO Partnerships

AireXpert helps airlines and MRO’s improve the speed, clarity, and coordination of AOG/OOS events. We are hiring an experienced operations professional, ideally with 5-6 years in an MCC/MOC, Tech Ops Control, or airline vendor‑management role who can analyze maintenance events, identify root‑cause patterns, and support stronger collaboration with third‑party MROs.This role blends operational insight, event analysis, and relationship management. You’ll be a key partner to our customers, helping them understand how decisions, communication, and vendor performance affect aircraft recovery times.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Review AOG/OOS events to identify:
    • Contributing factors and avoidable delays
    • Coordination issues between airline teams and Line MROs
    • Communication gaps that slowed decision‑making
    • Patterns across stations, shifts, or vendors
  • Prepare clear, data‑backed operational insights for customer reviews.
  • Support Account Management and Customer Success during:
    • Renewal discussions
    • Quarterly operational reviews
    • Vendor performance evaluations
MRO Partnerships & Field Support
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third‑party Line MRO partners.
  • Help standardize best practices for coordination, communication, and event handling.
  • Assist with onboarding and supporting new vendors adopting AireXpert.
  • Provide balanced, credible insight during airline–MRO joint reviews.
  • Translate vendor feedback into actionable product and workflow improvements.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Support Product by validating real operational workflows and identifying gaps or opportunities.
  • Help Marketing create grounded, real‑world operational content and case studies.
  • Join Sales and Partner Success calls to provide industry context and ask deeper operational questions.
  • Assist internal teams with understanding how airline maintenance events truly unfold.
Industry Involvement
  • Attend relevant industry events, user groups, and working sessions (e.g. safety/quality forums, MRO conferences).
  • Represent AireXpert with credibility based on lived operational experience.
  • Share observations and operational trends seen across stations and vendors.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 5–7 years in MCC/MOC, Tech Ops Control, Line Maintenance coordination, or airline vendor‑management.
  • Strong understanding of AOG/OOS workflows, escalation paths, and decision‑making under pressure.
  • Experience coordinating with or overseeing third‑party Line MRO providers.
  • Ability to interpret maintenance event timelines, logs, communication threads, and delays.
  • Skilled at explaining complex maintenance scenarios clearly and objectively.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort working with operational data.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Willingness to travel 15–25%.
