Coronaregional is looking for a part-time Nuclear Medicine Technician (Med Tech) at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. This role involves operating nuclear equipment to assist in medical diagnoses, instructing patients on procedures and ensuring optimal operation of computer systems.

Qualified candidates must hold relevant certifications and have at least one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine. A focus on patient care and professionalism is essential in this role.

Formación

• Certification by the California Department of Health Services and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT and CRT) required.
• Certificate of Nuclear Medicine Technologists required.
• Current BLS (CPR) certificate required.
• One (1) year experience in Nuclear Medicine required.
• I.V. Certification for contrast injections preferred.

Responsabilidades

Nuclear Medicine Technician (Med Tech) position

This is a Part Time position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA

Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, this position operates all nuclear equipment leading to the diagnosis of designated portions of the body as ordered by the physician. The technologist instructs the patient on all nuclear medicine procedures and protocols, prepares the patient, and ensures proper computer operation and computer knowledge, use of gamma and SPEC T software. The technologist provides the best patient care possible to enhance quality and professionalism in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Certification by the California Department of Health Services and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT and CRT) required.
• Certificate of Nuclear Medicine Technologists required.
• Current BLS (CPR) certificate required.
• One (1) year experience in Nuclear Medicine required.
• I.V. Certification for contrast injections preferred.
