Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is seeking a Part-Time Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the Diagnostic Imaging team. The tech will operate nuclear medicine equipment, perform prescribed studies, and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, this role requires ARRT/CRT certification, California DHS license, current BLS, and at least one year of Nuclear Medicine experience.

Qualifications

• Certification by the California Department of Health Services and ARRT/CRT is required.
• Certificate of Nuclear Medicine Technologists required.
• Current BLS (CPR) certificate required.
• One year experience in Nuclear Medicine required.
• IV Certification for contrast injections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate nuclear medicine equipment and support diagnosis as ordered.

Nuclear Medicine Technician (Med Tech) position

This is a Part Time position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA

Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging this positions operates all nuclear equipment leading to the diagnosis of designated portions of the body as ordered by physician. The technologist then instructs the patient of all nuclear medicine procedures, protocols, as well as preps. The technologist is responsible for proper computer operation and computer knowledge, use of gamma and SPEC T software, and provides the best patient care possible to enhance quality and professionalism in their tasks.
