Job summary

Clover Health Services in Lancaster, PA is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures. You will prepare patients, explain the procedure, administer contrast when needed, position patients for the scanner, and select imaging techniques to achieve high-quality scans.

The role requires 1–2 years of MRI experience in an inpatient hospital setting, BLS/ALS certification, and ARRT MR or ARRT-R with ARMRIT.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years MRI tech experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
• BLS or ALS certification is required.
• Either ARRT MR registration, or ARRT-R with ARMRIT registration.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures on patients and prepares them for the exam.
• Explains the procedure and administers contrast when necessary.
• Positions patients for the MRI scanner and selects imaging techniques.
• Ensures the technical quality of the scan.

Education

• - Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR); or
• - Registered Radiological Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) and Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
