Job summary

IdealHire Technologies, Inc. seeks a Travel Medical Technologist / MLT / Clinical Lab Scientist for a 13-week contract in Manchester, NH. The role is on-site, night shifts (9:00 PM–7:00 AM) with every-other-weekend coverage, performing comprehensive testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Microbiology.

Active ASCP/AMT certification is required, along with eligibility to work in a hospital lab. Experience with Meditech Expanse and multiple analyzers is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active certification from ASCP, AMT, or an equivalent accrediting body (MT/MLT/MLS or equivalent) is required.
• Eligible to work in a hospital laboratory as MT/MLT/CLS.
• Able to work overnight shifts (9:00 PM–7:00 AM) including every other weekend.
• Dress code: scrubs and closed-toe, closed-heel shoes; PPE provided onsite.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Microbiology (front-end, plating, rapid tests).
• Conduct specimen receiving and specimen processing functions.
• Operate and maintain lab instrumentation across multiple platforms.
• Document patient and testing data accurately using Meditech Expanse.
• Maintain valid certification from ASCP, AMT, or comparable body at submission.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing across departments including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and front-end Microbiology (plating and rapid testing)
• Conduct specimen receiving and specimen processing functions
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation including Siemens Atellicas, Sysmex XN line, Sysmex CS2500s, Abbott DxU, TEG6, and Cepheid platforms
• Document patient and testing data accurately using Meditech Expanse
• Maintain valid certification from ASCP, AMT, or a comparable accrediting body — certification must be in hand at time of submission

Required Qualifications

• Prior travel laboratory experience or ability to adapt quickly to new department workflows
