The Brook Hospital - KMI, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Associate to support patients on their journey to recovery in a 110-bed inpatient setting in Louisville, KY.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, monitor safety, assist with daily activities and groups, and document observations to help achieve treatment goals in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• No prior experience required; direct patient care experience in behavioral health is preferred.
• Must maintain CPR certification.
• Ability to learn via web-based training and participate in surveys.
• Excellent verbal communication with patients, coworkers and visitors.
• Must actively participate in a treatment team environment.
• Adhere to Service Excellence Standards.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

As a Mental Health Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting patients on their journey toward recovery and wellness. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will provide compassionate care, promote a safe and therapeutic environment, and help patients develop the skills needed to achieve their treatment goals.
