Job summary

RSM US LLP in Chicago seeks a senior professional to lead client-facing diligence engagements across technology, ERP/CRM/HRIS, and post-close workstreams. You will manage timelines, deliverables, budgets, and provide executive level readouts.

This role requires 6–11 years of experience in consulting, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred). Travel is expected; compensation is competitive with a discretionary bonus and opportunities to support private equity or strategic transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing meetings, manage project timelines and deliverables, and oversee budget adherence.
• Develop and analyze financial models to evaluate impact of transactions including bottom-up and top-down IT cost analysis across the P/L evaluating cost pools / vendors and develop one-time cost estimates.
• Manage transaction one-time cost and business run-rate cost models and provide executive level readouts on all cost drivers.
• Analyze key business applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS) with respect to business / industry requirements and complete application dispositioning with input from application leaders.
• Lead technology workstreams (business applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, etc.) in a post-close engagement while working with a broader Integration/Separation team.
• Support scoping, building, and pricing Transition Service Agreements (TSAs).
• Determine and document entanglements among people, process, technology, assets, and contracts between Parent (carveout) and NewCo.
• Manage fast-paced technology diligence engagements for private equity and strategic clients.
• Produce high quality, value-driven diligence reports and experience participating with clients in meetings critical to closing the transaction.
