The role requires strong financial modeling, advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to manage tight timelines while presenting to senior colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

• Strong academic track record, with a background in finance, accounting, business or economics.
• 3-4 years of investment banking experience (technology coverage preferred)
• Solid understanding of the entire sell-side M&A process, along with proven experience in successfully closing deals
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical abilities, as well as a deep understanding of financial statements

Responsibilities

• Work with senior professionals covering Software and Digital Media clients
• Learn about a range of end-markets: supply chain software, proptech, education technology, HCM software, semiconductors, sports tech, etc.
• Support teams working on M&A as well as equity / debt capital raises
• Research economic and industry-specific developments
• Analyze financial statements and other investment attributes of publicly traded as well as private companies
• Help prepare marketing materials and other presentations
• Build relationships with clients and prospective clients
• Supervise and mentor junior staff
