Qualifications

• 1+ year of investment banking experience; tech sector coverage a plus.
• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong valuation methodologies and accounting fundamentals.
• Proficiency with AI tools in a professional workflow and genuine interest in technologies reshaping the sectors we cover; we expect Analysts to actively use AI to work faster and sharper.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and close attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadline in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models, including operating models, DCF, LBO, merger/accretion-dilution, and returns analyses.
• Prepare client-facing materials such as pitch books, CIMs, management presentations, and board materials.
• Conduct in-depth industry and company-specific research, including comparable company and precedent transaction analysis.
• Support diligence processes and data room management, and track buyer and investor outreach throughout live deals.
• Monitor sector trends, M&A activity, and capital markets developments across assigned coverage areas.
