Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Legal Counsel – Technology to advise on enterprise-wide technology matters, including AI, SaaS, and data use for digital health products and services.

The role requires a JD, current license to practice law, and a minimum of 3 years of industry/tech legal experience post licensure. It operates in a hybrid setup with in-office collaboration 1–2 days weekly and flexibility for commuting distances.

Qualifications

• Requires a JD, current license to practice law and minimum of 3 years of industry/tech legal experience post licensure.
• Experience with technology and health law in a tech or health care company or law firm.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to advise business stakeholders and present information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on AI, SaaS, software as a medical device, and technology product development lifecycles.
• Negotiate Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, SaaS Agreements, MOUs, and Partner Agreements.
• Advise clients on legal risks and propose risk mitigation options; implement options with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and negotiation playbooks; support responses to client RFPs.
• Research regulatory changes and provide strategic positions on technology use; educate teams on legal issues.
