Technical Lead - Python- Remote

It has developed the best technological solution for all companies that have manufacturing needs or capabilities in CNC machining, sheet metal, and welded assembly. All this to make the process easier, faster, and less expensive than the traditional method.

Job Description:

The challenge

• Design, develop and document REST APIs
• Build features in the Django admin to help business staff
• Develop tools and methods to improve processes and current practices
• Solve complex problems creatively and sustainably
• Coach less experienced employees through code reviews and pair programming
• Collaborate with the front-end team to successfully integrate new features

Requirements

What do you need to succeed?

• 7 years of experience working with Python and REST frameworks
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Technical Leadership
• Experience working with the Django REST framework
• Familiar with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL
• Experience working with distributed systems
• Experience with the AWS environment
• Comfortable working with multiple 3rd party services such as Stripe, Quickbooks, Hubspot, S3, etc.
• In-depth understanding of REST-based services and API-driven development and design principles
• Strongly detail-oriented with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS practices is a plus
• Knowledge of Docker is a plus

Other Details:

Experience: Overall experience 7+ years; 4+ years of experience in Python/Django Development.

Location: Remote

Timings: Flexible - but there will be 3 meetings in a week according to Canadian time zone.
