Intone Networks Inc. is seeking a Tech Lead Developer with strong Node.js and TypeScript expertise for a contract position based in Dallas, TX.

You will drive architecture decisions while remaining hands-on, mentoring team members across backend services, cloud infrastructure, and frontend integration for a 6+ month engagement. The role focuses on scalable APIs, AWS-based solutions (Lambda, ECS, S3), API-first design, and security best practices, with collaboration across backend and frontend

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript across the full software stack.
• Deep experience building APIs and services with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Working experience with React for UI enhancements and integration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, and S3.
• Practical experience with DynamoDB.
• JWT and OAuth authentication patterns.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on.
• Strong background in cloud-native and API-first design.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable APIs and backend services using TypeScript and Node.js
• Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services including Lambda, ECS, and S3
• Lead technical decisions with a focus on resilient systems, API-first design, and security best practices
• Work across backend services (approximately 60–70% of effort) and frontend/UI concerns (approximately 30–40%)
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, code review, and mentorship to team members
• Collaborate on React-based UI enhancements and frontend integration work
• Navigate evolving requirements and high-ambiguity environments with a solution-oriented mindset
