Job summary

T2 Systems, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeks a Technical Lead – Software Delivery to own solution design and delivery for an enterprise platform. The role is 70% design/implementation and 30% coaching, overseeing development standards and quality across the team.

Responsibilities include leading platform feature design, full SDLC, and ensuring operational readiness with strong emphasis on documentation, governance, and technical mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of professional Java development experience.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership capacity.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects end-to-end and improve software quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and implementation for platform features, integrations, and services.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and delivery plans.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, build, test, release, and production support.
• Establish technical direction and align with architecture and engineering standards.
• Coach engineers through pairing, design reviews, and structured feedback to raise capability and consistency.
• Maintain enterprise-wide shared services and ensure operational readiness through observability and release validation.
