Job summary

Expedite Talent Solutions is seeking a Technology Lead - Engineering | Data Management to own data integration and DataStage-based ETL initiatives in a hybrid Philadelphia environment. The role emphasizes production support, performance tuning, and collaboration with data stakeholders.

You will monitor DataStage jobs, participate in root-cause analysis, implement robust error handling, and drive data quality across EDW, ODS, and data marts. Prior experience in healthcare data is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in Data Warehousing and ETL development.
• IBM DataStage (8.x/11.x) hands-on experience.
• Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c), advanced SQL & PL/SQL.
• EDW concepts: EDW, ODS, Data Marts.
• ETL concepts: CDC, incremental loads, SCD.
• ETL performance tuning for ETL jobs and Oracle queries.
• Unix/Linux shell scripting (basic to intermediate).
• Job scheduling tools (Tidal or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize DataStage job performance.
• Handle production support issues, reruns, and data reconciliations.
• Perform root cause analysis for ETL and data-related issues.
• Implement error handling, logging, and restartability in ETL jobs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle complex data issues.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Production support and ownership mindset.
