Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Tech Lead - Application Development JAVA N to design scalable backend services and APIs. The role emphasizes config-as-a-service architecture, MES and LIMS integrations, and strict API contracts.

You'll lead multi-tenant solutions with real-time data processing and collaborate across AI, frontend, and integration teams. Required are strong Java backend skills, microservices experience, and familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Kinesis streaming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or information technology.
• Master's degree in software engineering preferred.
• Oracle Certified Java Associate credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and platform APIs.
• Implement config-as-a-service architecture for platform configuration.
• Build integration services for MES, Historian, LIMS, and external systems.
• Enforce contract-first development with API schemas, validation and versioning.
• Develop multi-tenant aware services with strict data isolation.
• Optimize backend for high-throughput industrial data processing (real-time + batch).
• Collaborate with AI, frontend, and integration teams.
• Hands-on experience in microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architectures.
• Experience with AWS services, Kubernetes, and streaming systems (Kinesis).
